About us So who are these people at Best of Kenya? Based in East Africa, but with satellite offices in the UK and the US, Best of Kenya consists of a small team of dedicated professionals, passionately promoting the best Kenya has to offer. Between us, we provide an in-depth knowledge of East African information and safety tips for the safari of a lifetime. Besides our hand-on knowledge, we offer over 30 years of Kenyan, American and European experience in tourism, safaris, hotels, and restaurants. Our Kenyan offices are completely self-sufficient. We generate our own power using a wind turbine and solar panels, powering our office equipment and lighting. A percentage of our company profits support local community and conservation projects, such as the local orphanage, school classrooms, community library and the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). Rees was born to a mobile expatriate family; by the time she
was 18, she had lived in 7 countries, on 5 continents. The longest
period of time was spent in East Africa, with 7 years in Nairobi,
Kenya.
