River House is a small and pleasant country house set in 50 acres of unspoilt, indigenous forest on the banks of a natural stream. As the owner is your hostess, you are assured a delightful stay, off the beaten track.

Only 2 hours from Nairobi, River House is the perfect base from which to explore some of the Rift Valley lakes and parks such as Nakuru and Naivasha. There are golfing, tennis and trout fishing opportunities nearby.

Activities

The 50 acre property has its own stream and plenty of walking trails to provide you with the peace and solitude of a private home. The beautiful gardens are home to many indigenous trees, a rose garden and three separate fruit and vegetable gardens which provide the produce for the excellent kitchen.

Accommodation

River House only has 3 ensuite bedrooms - so you will never have to worry about crowds! You can choose to book the whole house to yourself, which will allow you the private and exclusive use of the house.

The rates are full board, and include wine at meals. The finest Cordon Bleu meals are prepared for you by your hostess. A true gastronomic delight.
